]]> Another year is in the books, and it was a great one.  We had record attendance, including a ton of repeat attendees (many who have been at all of our events) and an influx of first-time attendees (ranging from industry vets who just haven’t made it before to folks who are brand-new to family music).  And we had a lot of smiles and laughs.

]]> We’re mere hours away and we can barely keep up with all of the people talking about this year’s KindieFest.  Suffice it to say that people — including emphatically us — are excited!  Check out our Facebook page for all the details, including the unfortunate news we got this morning that, unless something unexpected comes through, Stefan from Zooglobble won’t make it, due to a last-minute obligation with his day job.  Other than that, it’s all good stuff!

]]> We are thrilled to announce that the keynote speaker for KindieFest 2012 will be Scott Schultz, co-creator of Yo Gabba Gabba! and The Aquabats Super Show!

Kicking off KindieFest 2012, Scott Schultz will be our keynote speaker Friday night.  Scott Schultz is co-creator of Yo Gabba Gabba!, the award-winning, live-action television series whose unconventional formula has created a triple stacked fan base, making it one of the most popular entertainment properties among preschoolers, parents and indie music lovers alike.   

New projects include serving as co-creator/Executive Producer on The Aquabats Super Show which just debuted Saturday mornings on The Hub.  Future projects Include Strange Island, an adult comedy webseries for the music video channel VEVO, as well as new kid show pilots for Nickelodeon, Jim Cary productions and Chipotle.

Schultz comes from a family deeply-rooted in entertainment.  He has worked in the children’s television industry for over two decades.  His father directed music variety shows, and he spent much of his childhood with his dad touring throughout the world.  He ran spotlights, mixed music and even performed in the shows. Schultz also worked as an editor and segment producer at a Los Angeles based music video show and toured the country performing with his band, Majestic. He lives in Orange County, CA with his family.
